95th Anniversary
On Sunday, May 11th, our congregation celebrated the 95th Anniversary of the merger with The First Presbyterian and The Assembly Presbyterian into the United Presbyterian Church. This was a wonderful time for celebration and commeration of our united congreation.
Elders, past and present, were involved in the Morning Worship service, providing a processional and a time of recognition.
May 11th was also Pentecost Sunday, the day we celebrated the beginning of the Christian Church. Fifty days after Easter, the Disciples were filled with the Holy Spirit and the Christian Church (Holy Catholic Church), as we know it today came into being.
This Sunday was also Mother’s Day, so all the Mothers were honored through recognition and carnations.
