About Us

UPC is a friendly little church with an emphasis on unconditional love and acceptance. You'll be greated with genuine warmth and embraced by a supportive extended family. The mission of our Church is to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ and to demonstrate the love of God to others. As we have received, we are to share. We seek to strengthen our Christian relationships with one another, with the community, and with God's world in order to meet the challenges of the future.

Are you ready to bring some joy to three children                                                       that Kate Riker Circle is sponsoring together with                                                         the Harrodsburg Herald’s Angel Tree?

Our family has 2 girls and 1 boy who need our                                                             help for their Christmas wishes.

There is a list and an index card listing each child’s wishes in the back of the

Sanctuary. Please write your name on the list next to the gift you would like to give, then take the index card that has the gift listed with the child’s name on it. When you purchase the gift, please wrap it and put the child’s name on the gift. The gifts need to be brought to the church by Sunday, December 8th.

We are also collecting monetary donations if you would like us to purchase a gift. Please write Kate Riker Angel Tree on your check or envelope.

If you would just like to purchase your own gift that is not on one of the children’s wish list, please place it unwrapped under the Mitten Tree.

In the past our congregation has been so sharing, loving and giving. Lets make sure these children have a Very Merry Christmas!

Laura Fugate Devine

Moderator, Kate Riker Circle

The mitten tree will be up soon! Last year our tree was full of items that were taken to the Christian Life Center. All of the items you bring will be given out to the people of Mercer County who truly need them. Just like last year, bring hats, gloves, mittens, scarves and socks for adults and children.

Lets continue to show our love for God and the less fortunate of Mercer County.
